Who we are
FairPane (fairpane.com) is a free window replacement cost resource run by Bobby Cooper in Shreveport, Louisiana. In this policy, "FairPane," "we" and "us" mean the site and its owner. You can reach us at [email protected].
Information we collect
Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. We use it only to reply and to improve the site.
Estimator inputs. The estimator runs in your browser. The rooms, windows and options you enter are not sent to or stored on our servers. If you use "Copy link," your choices are saved inside the link itself, after the # sign, and anyone you share that link with can see them.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which can include your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit, the page that referred you and the date and time of your visit. Our analytics and advertising partners also collect information through cookies and similar technologies, as described below.

We don't sell personal information for money. Like most ad-supported sites, our advertising partners use cookies that some state laws treat as "selling" or "sharing" for targeted advertising. If you send a request by email, we may ask for information to confirm it's you, and we'll respond within the time the law requires.
Children's privacy
FairPane is meant for adults planning home projects. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Data retention and security
We keep emails only as long as we need them to reply and keep basic records. Our hosting provider keeps server logs for a limited time. The site uses HTTPS encryption, but no method of sending or storing data online is completely secure.
Our pages link to sites we don't control, such as government agencies and manufacturers. Their privacy practices are their own, so review their policies when you visit them.

We may update this policy as the site or the law changes. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
